Portfolio Scene 07

It has been a week now and I've updated the scene to the point that I had originally planned. Seeing the scene with everything in place, I feel I need to add one last thing. That "thing" is a water dispenser in-betweem the sofa's.

Oh and I also want to break up the cloning of the sofa's by placing something on them. Maybe a stain or a clipboard with some notes.

Other than that I want to revisit some of the materials and see if I can improve them. The buildings for example and I also want to experiment with some light rays coming from the lights behind the central computer. I'm afraid it might not work though because attention is already guided towards the computer and cable. I don't want to overdo it.

But hey, that's what being an artist is all about. You try stuff out and if it doesn't look right then you remove it.

looking nice! I would suggest some throw cushions for the sofas in a warmer colour?

Also I feel like the doors at the back are tiny in comparison to the sofas! or the sofa at the back is massive - I think you could scale down the sofas nicely, and as a bonus it would make the room look a bit more spacious.

How many more times can I type sofas! :D

Thanks for the feedback. Especially the scale of the sofa's and door. I made them smaller and widened the door a little. It looks a lot better now.

As for cushions I'm going to say no for the moment. I like the idea and wrote it on my list of things to do but then I googled the type of sofa I modelled it on and none of these sofa's have cushions in real life.

I had planned to put a clipboard on the nearest sofa in the corner to break up the cloning appearance. After that I'll see what I can do but I want to keep that neutral white look as focus should be on the glowing stuff.
